Panoply Media and Vox Media Announce Podcast Partnership

Vox Media brings its extensive podcast network onto Panoply’s Megaphone technology platform

New York, NY (November 12, 2018) - Panoply Media announced today that Vox Media, the fastest growing modern media company, has selected Panoply as a partner for podcast distribution. Vox Media will use Panoply’s industry-leading podcast platform, Megaphone, to host and distribute its entire lineup of podcasts across the Vox Media Podcast Network, including shows from its editorial networks Vox, Recode, The Verge, SB Nation, Polygon, Eater and Curbed. Vox Media Podcast Network boasts a wide breadth of content from daily news (Vox’s Today, Explained) and policy (The Weeds) to business (Recode Decode and Recode Media), technology (The Vergecast and Function with Anil Dash) and sports (SB Nation) – totaling over 50 shows and millions of monthly downloads. The media company will join other leading publishers on Megaphone, including HowStuffWorks, Gimlet Media, Slate and The Wall Street Journal.

Vox Media will have access to Megaphone’s full suite of best-in-class tools for publishing, dynamic ad insertion, distribution, audience development, ad operations, campaign management, reporting and analytics.

At the same time, it allows publishers to deliver more relevant advertising to their listeners while increasing their shows’ sell-through rates.
